Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms before booking a tutor or registering as a tutor with GharPadh.

1. About GharPadh

Gharpadh Home Tuition Services ("GharPadh", "we") connects families in Ajmer with verified tutors for one-on-one home and online tuition. By using this website, filling our forms or using our services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Booking a tutor and the demo

  • You share the class, subjects and area; we suggest suitable tutors. Booking and talking to our team are free.
  • Every new student gets a 2-day demo at home with the chosen tutor.
  • The 2-day demo is free if you are not satisfied with the tutor. If you continue, the 2 demo days count as part of your first month.
  • The form must be filled by a parent or legal guardian, or by a student who is 18 or older.

3. Parent registration fee (₹499)

  • Booking and talking to our team are free. The ₹499 registration fee is charged only once your tutor is matched and your demo is fixed.
  • The ₹499 is separate from the monthly tuition fee.
  • It is valid for the whole academic session. You pay it again only when you take a new tutor in a new session.
  • If you are not happy with the tutor and we do not have another tutor who fits your requirement, we refund the registration fee. The refund request must be made in writing (WhatsApp message or email).

4. What the registration fee covers

  • 100% payment safety: You pay the monthly fee to GharPadh in advance, and we pay the tutor at the end of the month. Your money stays safe for the whole session.
  • Support all session: Our team supports you for as long as your child studies with a GharPadh tutor.
  • No new fee for more help: Any other study need in the same session, even a tutor for another child, comes without paying ₹499 again.

5. Tutor verification and safety

When we call a tutor "verified", this is what we have done:

  • The tutor sends us their identity, address and qualification documents by email, and we check them against the original documents.
  • The tutor meets our team for a meeting and an interview before teaching.
  • Police verification of the tutor is available on request. It is a paid service that usually costs ₹200–300; we confirm the cost before starting it.

6. Our responsibility and its limits

GharPadh makes every reasonable effort to check tutors through documents, meetings and interviews. Even so, we cannot take responsibility for the personal conduct or actions of any tutor, parent or student. The final decision to engage a tutor, and supervision at home, rest with the parent or guardian.

We recommend that a parent or guardian is at home during classes. If you notice anything wrong, tell us at once on WhatsApp or call; we will look into it and can stop the tutor from working with GharPadh.

Tutors, too, should report any problem with a family to us straight away.

Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under Indian law.

7. Classes and holidays

  • Classes run 1 hour per day, Monday to Saturday, one-on-one.
  • Sundays and major festivals are holidays. Festival dates are shared on WhatsApp.

8. Fees and payment

  • Fees follow the GharPadh fee chart shown on our Fees page. These are average monthly fees.
  • The final fee depends on the student's needs, the tutor's experience and the location, and is confirmed with you before classes start.
  • If you continue after the demo, the monthly fee is paid in advance to GharPadh, and we pay the tutor at the end of the month.
  • Apart from the registration fee refund described above, refunds and adjustments, if any, are decided by the GharPadh team case by case. Please contact us before stopping classes.

9. For tutors

  • Registration: you fill the form; our team calls you; if you are shortlisted, you email your documents; when you find a tuition requirement in your area on our WhatsApp channel, we fix a verification meeting at our office, where you bring your original documents.
  • Filling the form, our call and joining our WhatsApp channel are free. You pay the one-time ₹499 registration fee only at your verification meeting, after you have found a tuition requirement in your area and agreed to our terms. It covers your training video, the verification of your documents and access to tuition requirements.
  • If no tuition of yours starts as a regular class within 90 days of paying, call us and we start a 100% refund within 24 hours. This applies as long as you did not turn down matching requirements without a reason.
  • You must share true and complete information and documents.
  • Your Tutor Code and the lead details on the tutor leads page are confidential. Do not share them. Misuse can lead to removal from GharPadh.
  • Tutors must behave respectfully and professionally with students and families at all times.

10. Results

We work to match the right tutor with each student, but results depend on many factors, including the student's own effort, so we cannot guarantee specific marks or results.

To the extent the law allows, GharPadh is not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of this website or our services.

11. Website content

The text, logo, photos and design on this website belong to GharPadh. Please do not copy them without our written permission.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ajmer, Rajasthan have jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version is always on this page.
